Looks like alyx is possible with driver4vr and kinect v2 camera. Depending how invested you are into VR games, an alternative is to buy a NOLO VR kit as the iVRy driver supports it, it comes with a base station, a head tracker and 2 motion controllers and is cheaper than buying a whole new set of VR kit.

Here's a list of the compatible VR headsets you can use to play it. Valve has revealed Half-Life Alyx will make its debut on March 23. If you already own a compatible headset, you can preorder In some places, playing HL: Alyx, I caught myself thinking that I was kind of playing the same Half-Life 2, which I played a thousand times, but I enjoy it like the first one. While playing, you understand how some natural things from real life fit coolly into the context of the game in VR and especially in Half-Life.
I will wait couple of years for new VR features first ;) You can buy just the controllers to start. That’s what I did. I got those to replace my basic Vive ones, next I’ll get the headset, then eventually the lighthouses, maybe. The Vive ones work fine, I’m just curious if the index ones will be more accurate

Sorry dood, there simply aren’t any 2015 MacBooks (Pro or otherwise) that are powerful enough to run Half-Life: Alyx. This game is ready to improve your gameplay, that is why the conventional VR headsets can not deal with Half-life Alyx. VR on PCs is getting a lot more crowded. To avoid the laggy gaming experience you must purchase a compatible VR headset. A wrong VR headset can destroy all your gameplay so never compromise on it. Although Valve has its own headset on the market, the good news is that Half-Life: Alyx is compatible with nearly every headset that supports SteamVR, which includes the majority of TU8czm.
