Far Cry 3 still holds up pretty well, and with adjusting a few settings and installing a few mods the PC version can deliver a pretty modern experience while retaining the charm of the PS3/360 generation. I recommend playing Far Cry 3, then 4, then 5, then 6, then Primal.
