GTA IV crashes with this. I finally realized that dinput8.dll was only 0k in size. I tried downloading it again but the size was still 0k. I then downloaded the source file and got dinput8.dll from it. This copy of dinput8.dll is 40k in size. Now it works with the VRAM showing the full 2048 MB. I guess Firefox is blocking the download.
2) Remove all mod files apart from ScriptHookV.dll and dinput8.dll from your main game folder and run the game. Doing that will eliminate ScriptHookV from being the cause of any crash. If you get past step 2 successfully: 3) Add a trainer to your main game folder and run the game
If you ,you may find help if you go to this page. I tried it today but it just reinstalls Dinput8.dll and the game won't load. If you remove Dinput8 it disables most mods, therefor it is one of the mods creating the crashes, you will have to reinstall or delete mods to find the problem.
