Jul 27, 2015. #2. Doesn't sound right. Google e90 heater control valve issues, I had this problem before on my E36 where one side was lekker hot and the other side, well lets say it was blowing air. Hope this helps you, what you also can do and see if this helps is to locate the heater control valves, it is 2 silver 5-6cm tube like that is in
E46 Blower not working. I've got a 2001 E46 320i sedan, and I'm having a slight problem with the heaters not working on my car. The HVAC control unit seems to work ok, all the lights and stuff come up, however, when I turn the heaters on, nothing comes out of the vents! Not even at full blast. I can hear a faint sound in the background, which
So, refusing to beleive that the FSR was the culprit, I dug in the blower motor. After disassembling firewall to get at motor, I was horrified to find that the motor was now working! I stripped alittle bit of insulation from the motor wires, and checked the voltage. Everything appeared nominal there. Max voltage was around 6 volts.
Fan blower motor stopped working. I started my car this morning, and hit the defroster button The orange light speed indicator lines on the dash showed the fan running at the highest setting, but no motor noise, and no air. I tried all of the settings, including the foot, face and upper dash settings, and still no fan.
Location: Chicago. iTrader: ( 1) Heater failure/not working. Only under 500 miles and looks like I'll be heading in for service. Went for a drive tonight to check out some different settings with driver mode and adaptive suspension. It's in the upper 50's out here. Set the HVAC temp to 73F, fan about half way.
1: Replaced FSU - no difference. 2: Tried connecting pins on FSU cable. #1 (lower right on line of 3) to #5 (top right of the 2 top ones. And #2 to #4 - blower motor instantly on full so not the blower. Pulled out radio and then air con control panel which pops out when pushed from behind.
The heater does not work, unless the climate control is set to exactly 28.0 degrees C (max setting). When set to 27.5 degrees, it blows cold air. The car is a 2009 E90 LCI.
