KinectHeadTracker.zip file wherever you like and double click the KinectHeadtracker.exe executable. If all goes well you won't get any errors, you will see your face, rather egg shaped. There are some shortcut keys that sometimes work (the camera tilt is a bit flaky, need to press it many times, still not sure why).
I was running into a very similar issue where my "Kinect FPS" was "low" and Driver4VR would crash everytime I tried to start it. A simple restart fixed that. Other than that and trying out what the other commenter said, you'll probably get a nice bit of help over at the Driver4VR forums. Greg Driver himself gives support pretty often over there
OPTIONAL: This will make the Kinect work on a computer, but it will be useless with an Xbox now. If you want to continue using it with an Xbox, you can splice the wires in without cutting of the Xbox plug. Couple of other things, consider how youāll mount the Kinect. You basically need to be facing it and 3 or 6 feet back depending. Driver4vr is actually better than kinect2Vr, no matter what their discord says. However, itās not worth paying for imo. The guy is trying to add too many weird features no one wants.
